Temporary measures have been announced by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to increase the number of authorised work hours for international students. International students in Canada with off-campus work authorization on their study permit will be able to work more than 20 hours per week beginning November 15, 2022.
In Wednesday’s draw, the CRS in Express Entry Draw 232 dropped from 510 to 504. In the 232nd draw, a record number of Invitations to Apply were issued, with 3,750 people invited. There was no specified programme for the draw, so invitations were issued to candidates from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
Permanent Resident applications will be available online in the coming weeks. As of September 23, 2022, eight PR pathways have transitioned to digital applications, with the remaining programmes to follow.
